On the morning of Thursday, April 20, we handed over our new egg facility near Gyermely, which is now the largest in our country.

Before the investment, we had 540,000 places for laying hens, which increased to 680,000 thanks to the development. According to the plans, the annual egg production will increase from 140 million to 170 million pieces, half of which will be sold as shell eggs, and the rest will be used in our own pasta factory.

During the investment, the storage capacity was also expanded. This ensures the storage of packaging material and shell eggs. A new social block was also built, which meets the strictest current standards.

The total value of the investment was EUR 4 million, of which EUR 2 million came from EU grant funding.
