On June 11, a ceremonial machine handover took place where Zahorán Zalán, Deputy CEO for Technical Sales at KITE Zrt., presented a fleet of high-tech machines to the Gyermelyi Group. The fleet, consisting of six John Deere S7 900 Hillmaster digital harversters and two John Deere 6M250 tractors, currently represents the forefront of agricultural technology. The machines were received by Béla Tóth Jr., Deputy CEO, and Zsolt Keresztes, Crop Production Director.
The relationship between Gyermelyi and KITE is not new; the two companies have been in close cooperation for over 25 years. This partnership dates back to 1998, and since then, KITE has sold more than 60 high-value agricultural machines to the group.
This latest machine purchase was the result of a long preparation process. The decision was preceded by a summer and autumn demo period during which Gyermelyi tested the machines under real-world conditions. The accumulated experience, operational support, and the trust between the two companies collectively contributed to the success of this investment.
The modern harvesters are outstanding not only for their robust mechanical design but also for their advanced digital functions, which simplify the operator’s work. The John Deere S7 900 Hillmaster harvesters continuously optimize their operation for the crops being harvested. Through the JDLinkTM remote monitoring system, they communicate in real-time with the John Deere Operations Center. This allows for daily analysis of operational and harvesting data, as well as end-of-season evaluations. KITE’s service team receives immediate information about potential malfunctions through the remote diagnostic system, enabling faster and more efficient intervention.
